Morning Communion and Trees

She [wisdom] is a tree of life to them that lay hold upon her:
and happy is every one that retaineth her. Proverbs 3:18

There are many unique and beautiful ways to commune with the Spirit each morning. One of my favorite ways is through nature and the trees. I am fortunate enough to be surrounded in trees, old elms, which have become a loving part of my morning devotion.

Every morning first thing, when I have my coffee, I sit in front of a window that looks out immediately upon the old elms. In silent commune I greet them and they channel the natural energy of the Spirit back to me, infusing my soul with the wisdom of the ages.

This is a beautiful time for contemplation upon the Spirit in nature, a time for thanks and gratitude and to simply “be.”

We are one; we are together in Spirit, the trees and I.

If you have trees outside or near your windows, try sitting with them in the morning’s sun. If you do not have trees nearby, here are some other ways that you may begin to bring them into your life:

  • Bring a small potted tree into your home. Bonsai or lemon trees make great indoor friends.

  • Watch inspirational nature shows.

  • Add a poster or framed pieces of art depicting trees.

  • Make your computer screen-saver or background background a picture of trees.
  • Take nature walks or visit a nearby park

However you choose to commune wih the Holy Spirit through the trees, know that it is a most sacred and enjoyable experience that will bring you peace, wisdom and the fulfillment of experiencing the Spirit that is in All.

Let angels guide thy path.

Get your journey on! Your soul-journey.

Bible Will Teach You How to Know Your Enemy; Know Your Self

When we study the Word, and we are given the ears to hear, and the ability to discern, we can then be confident of the truth from wherever it comes. Last night in re-watching the movie, “Birth of the Dragon,” I was able to understand so much more due to my Bible studies. From the movie, “Lesson number one, know your enemy. Lesson number two, know your self. With these two principles, you need never fear a thousand battles.” This was so heavy and so profound and I got it on such a deep spiritual level regarding all facets of life (not just regarding two men in physical combat). The Bible has shown me how to know my enemy and to know my self and therefore not fear. When we truly understand that we are an eternal child of God, then we know our self . When we understand that anyone or thing (including our own thoughts) that is not in the light of God is of the darkness (even those lost in the gray), then we know our enemy.  Jesus said in Mathew 12:30, “He t...

He Will Make My Feet Like Deer's Feet

There is a tree out my window with branches that look like a stag. I have been contemplating it for years. Sometimes I forget about it, others I see it. The tree stag has been jumping out at me recently again.  I looked it up and found a couple quotes on websites, “the stag came to symbolize God’s power, nobility, freedom and purity.” In Scottish lore, it symbolizes regeneration because of the antlers. “In the Christian imagination, the deer is a symbol of piety, devotion and of God taking care of his children: men.” “In it's simplest form, deer symbolize the joys of loving Christ intimately (Song of Songs 2:7). In biblical symbology, deer represent piety, devotion, and safety in God's care. They are a symbol of thirst and longing for the Lord. ... Deer feet are an analogy for our spiritual feet.”  There were also a couple saints associated with the stag as divine encounters. It basically represents something good in every culture, but I went with the Scottish...

When You Feel the Tension Coming

When you feel the tension coming, just relax, breathe through it. Relax the whole body and float. You know how to maneuver this. You can do it. ************************************************************************ From author, Angel Intuitive & Yoga Instructor,  Cheryl Yale-Bruedigam, CYI-250 Empowering YOU for a happier,soul-filled life About Cheryl Yale Bruedigam Cheryl Yale Bruedigam, the angels’ author, has been writing spiritually for thirty years.
