Why I Do What I Do - with Cameron Diaz

Cameron Diaz has always been a favorite and I was not surprised to find that she is so down-to-earth and honest. While watching this video earlier, she posed some good questions: Why do you do what you do and what are your intentions? I thought I would answer them for myself as well as to share with my readers and then pose the questions to you as well. (see below) Why do I do what I do? I do what I do to share what I have been through thus far and what has helped me to get through it. I share to spread beauty, joy and enlightenment. SPIRITUAL BOOKS/WRITTEN WORD Spiritually, with my writing, I simply share the guidance I am given and the obstacles and the nuggets and I have encountered along the way in hopes they will help others who are coming along the path as others have done for me. I share in hopes of lighting the way to the journey of the soul. I hope to help others to connect with the Spirit that is within and to find their Divine purpose. YOGA AND ME

Inner Strength is YOURS, Draw on it and Heal

Just remember, you are stronger than you think you are; Stronger than you have yet discovered. This comes from your chi, your solar plexus, your prana. Ironically, I was just thinking and writing this morning about being able to control the body and its healing with the mind. I hadn’t said anything to my husband but within a short time, he gave me an impromptu lesson in chi, showing me how to direct the flow into my arm so he could not bend it. It worked! In my daily healings and meditations I do work with the direction of healing energy but the example of visually seeing it happen in physical effect was immensely strengthening to my mind and an invaluable healing tool. So draw on that chi, direct it and harvest it with all you’ve got. Send in the healing power. By drawing on your inner power, you will come to see that you have a strength far greater than you are aware. It is there, waiting, lying dormant, ready for you to use in all areas of your life and healin

Getting on Your Soul Journey – Step 1

The first step in getting on your soul journey usually begins with the question, who am I ? Sometimes it may take a tragic event to spur this question; one that sparks a complete re-evaluation of one’s life. Once we ask this question, we begin to see all that we are and all that we are that we do not want to be. We may realize that we are in a career or a relationship that is not best suited to us. We may see that we have been unkind or selfish. We may see that we have been living a life to please others rather than to follow the soul’s path to our destiny. Step one is questioning and discovering who you are verses who you are truly meant to be. Once this period of reflection and self-discovery has been completed, you then move to step two which I will discuss in a future blog, no worries, you have plenty to do in the meantime. If you would like to watch the video, watch here or on my channel. Get your journey on! Your soul-journey. From Author,

Autumn: a time for contemplation

For me, fall is a time of contemplation though it usually begins early, mid-to-late August and continues to around mid-November. This is a time to draw in as the days shorten; in days of old, the harvest was made in preparation for winter, thus is our own harvest within. The year is coming to a close and all that we have thought, sought, acted on, received, given and produced is accumulated upon the soul and so with it we should review, give thanks, keep what is good and cast away that which was not as we go into the dark of the seasons to ready ourselves for a new year. Google Dictonary defines contemplation as such: con·tem·pla·tion, kän(t)əmˈplāSH(ə), noun the action of looking thoughtfully at something for a long time. deep reflective thought. the state of being thought about or planned. Contemplation is a natural process of the soul to which we should devote ample time in consideration of our thoughts, actions and deeds, our desires and commitments

Getting in Sync with Your Rhythm and Living with Ease

By slowing down, learning to just be and getting in sync with your own natural rhythm, you can begin living with ease. We think, oh when I get this or when that happens, then I can slow down and things will ease off. No, things will get better and ease off when you slow down, when you take the time to just be and to enjoy life in each of its moments, moments that will never come again. I like the sound of living with ease. Seems like something it is time for. Though it is really a natural thing, we have to re-learn it because our fast-paced society does not allow for us to be and live in sync with our own natural pace. I am learning to live with ease. We create our own stress and chaos by not slowing down. I welcome living with ease and enjoying the moment and life and all that life has to offer.  Enjoy your Sunday and have a blessed week and may you live with ease! Get your journey on!
