Make a big hit to the ego, stop doing things you shouldn’t and pray for guidance

You know that thing you do, where you go off half-cocked trying to force things to happen and then immediately lose your confidence or motivation? That is because it is not the plan for you. Stop now and instead become empowered in the Spirit.

Spiritual growth and progress is gradual but on some occasions you will grow by leaps and bounds and sometimes there are things that you can do that will propel you with amazing, lightening-like results.

The number one block to your spiritual empowerment is the ego. Period. No matter how much or how long you have battled the ego, it will always be a daily battle; however, when you truly begin to ask for God’s guidance in all matters with all your heart, strength and sincerity, then you will begin to see where you have been operating in ego. Once you see this for what it is and actually make a decision that is based on God’s will for you rather than your will, bam, you are empowered like never before. Why? Because you are now operating through the will of God and are on full throttle with no egoic blocks. This in turn allows for the flow of the Spirit, of energy, of inspiration and for love to enter and take over. With these now free-flowing, you are in the Spirit, receiving the full power of the Spirit.

Once this happens and the opening has occurred, you will be able to stop making decisions based on the ego. You will make decisions based on God’s will for you and instead of feeling panic, fear, dread, confusion (all things the ego tells you will happen) you will instantly feel amazing inside. You feel this wonder because you are in sync with God and with His will for you and you will be strengthened, empowered, encouraged and full of God’s endless and incredibly loving energy. All because you have finally stopped doing the things that you knew that you should not be doing. You stopped making decisions based on your desires and allowed them to be made through you by your heavenly Father who knows all that you can and should be in loving light. Ego is not in control and the Holy Spirit can now guide and bring you to a new height in the light of the empowerment through God’s will for you.
