One thing I have realized recently is how the spiritual
healing process works, at least for me. The spirit gets uplifted, and when the
spirit gets uplifted, the mind gets uplifted and when the mind gets uplifted,
the body has to follow suit. This is spiritual healing. But we have to allow the Holy Spirit to uplift us, and
as I have seen (and written about previously) in research, the root of the word
believe, is to allow. When all blocks
to our belief are removed, then we can allow
the healing.
So before we can receive any healing, we have to remove the
blocks. We do this by asking in prayer for the blocks to be revealed and removed, and then
once they are revealed we see them clearly for what they are and we no longer
allow them to remain in our “spiritual sight” so to speak. We can then allow
our self to be uplifted and the healing process begins; in the spirit, in the
mind, and finally, in the body.
It may take continual work, daily or even hourly. It is not something that can be done once because we have to continually check to keep our self balanced, open and in alignment with the Spirit. We also have to check that ego has not stepped in the way or that we have not lapsed into dis-belief for any reason. Healing work in daily prayer will keep the healing flowing as you allow yourself to continue to receive the healing fruits of the Spirit.
The best teaching that has worked for me in removing the blocks and clearing myself to believe and receive healing is Mark 11:23 (KJV)
23 For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith.
