Mondays can be difficult to get focused and any day can
easily get out of sync if we are not focused. Worry, fear, distractions come in
all forms and invade our thoughts and before we know it, we have begun to
spiral downward which takes us out of the spiritual flow. What is true is right
now, this day, this moment. Anything else is fear, worry, speculation or
distraction and all of these will rob your focus.
Getting re-focused is the best way to get the joy and the
energy flowing again. Picking a verse to help you re-focus throughout the day
is a simple and effective way to get back into the flow of the Spirit in all
that you think and do. Memorize one for the day and pause to repeat it whenever you need to re-focus.
Following are a few suggested Bible verses on staying
focused:
Romans 8:5 . . . those who live according to the Spirit set
their minds on the things of the Spirit.
Proverbs 16:3
3 Commit thy works unto the Lord, and thy thoughts shall be
established.
Psalm 119:105
Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path.
Romans 12:2
2 And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed
by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and
acceptable, and perfect, will of God.
Isaiah 26:3
3 Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed
on thee: because he trusteth in thee.
Proverbs 3:6
In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight
your paths.
