Faith ---Belief---Trust

Using the gift of faith to develop belief and trust in God to begin the healing process

Is faith alone enough to heal or to accomplish any desire or need in life? No. Firstly, you have to have something to out your faith in and that is God. Having faith without God is possible but it is the way harder way to do it and in the end, you will just have faith, nothing else will have come of it and eventually frustration will set it. But in using faith properly, we can develop belief and trust which will lead to fruitful evidence of a working relationship with God through which we can heal.

It says in the Bible that faith is a gift; Ephesians 2:8, “For by grace ye are saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God.” It also says in Romans 12:3,
“. . . God hath dealt to every man the measure of faith.” This means that we have been given faith, we came with it, and we received it automatically. It is up to us to put that faith to use.

We begin by telling our self to have faith.

If we are to get to the point that we can work in union with God, we must trust God but there are steps to take that lead to, and help us to develop, His trust, and the first is using the very gift of faith that He gave us. To use our faith we must apply the idea of having faith every time we are afraid or uncertain. We begin by telling our self to have faith. When we begin to see results from this (and you will), then belief starts to develop and to strengthen. Every time we use our faith and we see the results (God-willing of course), our belief strengthens. It may not always happen that way though, sometimes we may not see results; perhaps it is not God’s will for our path, perhaps it involves someone else’s choices, or perhaps we are asking the wrong thing or we are waiting on God’s Divine timing. When this occurs, we again apply more faith. Eventually, results will be seen and we begin to believe.

As our belief strengthens (through our applied faith) we begin to trust. A relationship with God is a two-way street that involves trust. God is forgiving and we have His promise that we can always trust Him to be there, it is we that have to develop our trust on our end and like any relationship, that of course takes work and faith and belief, but if used and applied daily, this method will work in assisting you to develop trust in God. And when you have trust in God, you have everything and you will have taken the first step to wholeness through God's perfect love and promise for wholeness.

Follow the light of your heart!

Many blessings.

Bible Will Teach You How to Know Your Enemy; Know Your Self

When we study the Word, and we are given the ears to hear, and the ability to discern, we can then be confident of the truth from wherever it comes. Last night in re-watching the movie, “Birth of the Dragon,” I was able to understand so much more due to my Bible studies. From the movie, “Lesson number one, know your enemy. Lesson number two, know your self. With these two principles, you need never fear a thousand battles.” This was so heavy and so profound and I got it on such a deep spiritual level regarding all facets of life (not just regarding two men in physical combat). The Bible has shown me how to know my enemy and to know my self and therefore not fear. When we truly understand that we are an eternal child of God, then we know our self . When we understand that anyone or thing (including our own thoughts) that is not in the light of God is of the darkness (even those lost in the gray), then we know our enemy.  Jesus said in Mathew 12:30, “He t...

He Will Make My Feet Like Deer's Feet

There is a tree out my window with branches that look like a stag. I have been contemplating it for years. Sometimes I forget about it, others I see it. The tree stag has been jumping out at me recently again.  I looked it up and found a couple quotes on websites, “the stag came to symbolize God’s power, nobility, freedom and purity.” In Scottish lore, it symbolizes regeneration because of the antlers. “In the Christian imagination, the deer is a symbol of piety, devotion and of God taking care of his children: men.” “In it's simplest form, deer symbolize the joys of loving Christ intimately (Song of Songs 2:7). In biblical symbology, deer represent piety, devotion, and safety in God's care. They are a symbol of thirst and longing for the Lord. ... Deer feet are an analogy for our spiritual feet.”  There were also a couple saints associated with the stag as divine encounters. It basically represents something good in every culture, but I went with the Scottish...
