Teaching what You Need to Learn

It is said that we teach what we most need to learn.

I will teach love.
I will teach patience.
I will teach giving.
I will teach helpfulness.
I will teach compassion.
I will teach peace.
I will teach understanding.
I will teach joy.
I will teach optimism.

I will teach faith.

And, I will teach others to teach.
Teaching what we most need to learn is a simple concept. At times though we may resist as we think thoughts like I am not good enough or skilled enough or experienced enough to teach someone anything but these are the very reasons that we do need to teach the things that we need to learn. We learn best from sharing or demonstrating to others.

It is much like parenting. So often kids will want to do this or that and it is many times something that the parent has never even done but as a parent, we jump in, figure it out and do our best at it to help them learn how to do it. I am reminded of once when my husband had to "help" my son build a giant catapult for a science project. Not only did it have to be functional, it had to compete in a catapult day at the school where each team had a catapult. Several other team parents jumped in with my husband and they all did their best to build a catapult for the kids. It also took days to complete. But when it was completed, they had not only taught the children how to do it, they had learned by teaching the children, how to make it themselves.

For me, the best time to teach something that I need to learn is when I am struggling with that very thing such a patience for example. If something is really trying my patience then I know that I need to write an article or a book section on the art of patience. Being here now is another that I have trouble with so by encouraging others to be here now, then I am automatically being here now. See how it works?

Just jump in. No matter how experienced you are or are not, you are helping others to learn and you are bringing your own growth to new levels, which is after all, why we are here. The angels tell me, "Take heed of your growth for it is given you in hopes of your coming to the light and in time sharing with those who will follow." This is truly why we are here; to grow, to learn, to share, to teach, to evolve as we help others and through teaching we are always helping others.

Angel blessings for a beautiful day! Namaste.

Bible Will Teach You How to Know Your Enemy; Know Your Self

When we study the Word, and we are given the ears to hear, and the ability to discern, we can then be confident of the truth from wherever it comes. Last night in re-watching the movie, “Birth of the Dragon,” I was able to understand so much more due to my Bible studies. From the movie, “Lesson number one, know your enemy. Lesson number two, know your self. With these two principles, you need never fear a thousand battles.” This was so heavy and so profound and I got it on such a deep spiritual level regarding all facets of life (not just regarding two men in physical combat). The Bible has shown me how to know my enemy and to know my self and therefore not fear. When we truly understand that we are an eternal child of God, then we know our self . When we understand that anyone or thing (including our own thoughts) that is not in the light of God is of the darkness (even those lost in the gray), then we know our enemy.  Jesus said in Mathew 12:30, “He t...

When You Feel the Tension Coming

When you feel the tension coming, just relax, breathe through it. Relax the whole body and float. You know how to maneuver this. You can do it. ************************************************************************ From author, Angel Intuitive & Yoga Instructor,  Cheryl Yale-Bruedigam, CYI-250 Empowering YOU for a happier,soul-filled life About Cheryl Yale Bruedigam Cheryl Yale Bruedigam, the angels’ author, has been writing spiritually for thirty years. He Will Make My Feet Like Deer's Feet

There is a tree out my window with branches that look like a stag. I have been contemplating it for years. Sometimes I forget about it, others I see it. The tree stag has been jumping out at me recently again.  I looked it up and found a couple quotes on websites, “the stag came to symbolize God’s power, nobility, freedom and purity.” In Scottish lore, it symbolizes regeneration because of the antlers. “In the Christian imagination, the deer is a symbol of piety, devotion and of God taking care of his children: men.” “In it's simplest form, deer symbolize the joys of loving Christ intimately (Song of Songs 2:7). In biblical symbology, deer represent piety, devotion, and safety in God's care. They are a symbol of thirst and longing for the Lord. ... Deer feet are an analogy for our spiritual feet.”  There were also a couple saints associated with the stag as divine encounters. It basically represents something good in every culture, but I went with the Scottish...
