Putting all of your faith in God will empower you to be all
that you are meant to be because as you completely surrender, you will receive
all that is promised through the Holy Spirit which brings you to a height which
you have never previously even imagined. Once you place all of your faith in
God and you surrender every single thing in your life to the higher power, the
changes will be immense, noticeable, and glowing.
We have the free will to choose how we will spend our life,
how we will spend eternity. As we go through our day, we make these choices
from minute to minute, usually not even consciously. Placing all faith in God
and turning over all decisions to the will of God will enable you to begin to
heartfully follow the path on which you are meant to be full of empowerment that you alone could never muster.
Surrender frees us to be open to so many things like much needed change
in our lives, healing, love, guidance; so much that we need and for which we
are starved spiritually as well as mentally and physically.
Before I made a complete commitment to the Spirit, I never
dreamed the changes in my self and my life that would come. I kept trying to
make them come, or make them what I wanted them to be but we do not have that
capability without God’s direction. I used to think I was committed; I used to
think I was spiritual but I was not. I was merely searching for it; I had not
yet found it. Then one day, I realized that so much of what I did was of my
love for the Spirit and it was this small yet profound realization that
catapulted me into complete commitment and I began to read the Bible which changed everything.
Once you make the big commitment, healings will begin to
occur, joy and love will overflow your heart and fears will completely drop
away if you stay with it day-to-day, keeping up your end of the commitment. Reading
the Scriptures, staying in prayer, quiet contemplation and mental awareness of
your thoughts and actions will assist you in strengthening your faith and the
presence of God in your heart.
If you seek change, if you seek to be new, I would urge you
to make the commitment on your own because as I found out (the hard way) if
fate has to use circumstances to force your change, it will not likely be
pleasant nor easy. It is much easier to simply surrender and then let God work
his magic in your life and you will see the immense change that is you and is empowered by the Holy Spirit.
Ephesians 4:23-25 (KJV)
23 And be renewed in the spirit of your mind,
24 And that ye put on the new man, which after God is
created in righteousness and true holiness.
Have a blessed day and may the grace of God be with you.
